FFM is a Registered Investment Advisory firm that specializes in retirement planning and wealth accumulation. Jeff has provided financial advice for his clients since 1979.
Rooted firmly in his desire to provide quality service for his clients, and in his belief that financial planning is not a one-step process, Jeff created the award-winning Integrated Wealth Management Process™, which is “A holistic and evolutionary strategic planning program based on a conversation about your financial affairs for the rest of your life”. FFM currently supervises almost $100 million in assets.
Beyond the offices of FFM, Jeff and his wife Donna host a popular call-in radio show, Dollars & Sense, which airs Saturday mornings on WSKY 97.3 FM from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Jeff and Donna have also been featured on the NPR radio show, Market Place, where, over a period of 12 months, the show followed the financial lives of the Davis family as well as two other families. Jeff’s passion is wrestling; he was a high school State Champion and an All-American wrestler. He was a member of the University of Florida’s undefeated SEC Championship wrestling team in 1975 and received Southeastern Conference wrestling honors each of his four years with the UF team. He went on to be the Assistant Wrestling Coach at UF from 1975-1979.
Jeff was a member of the Wrestling Event Staff for the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta. He was also the Team Leader for the Florida Junior National Team from 2001-2005. By winning the Junior National Team title in 2004, Team Florida became the first Florida team ever to win a National title.
The Florida Amateur Wrestling Association named Jeff the 2004 Coach of the Year. He was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2004.
Within our local community, Jeff stays active on the wrestling mat as founder and coach of the Alachua County Boys’ and Girls’ Club wrestling team…coaching little kids in wrestling as he coaches “big” kids about their money.
For his work with the Boys’ and Girls’ Club, Jeff was awarded Alachua County’s Volunteer of the Year Award in 2000.
Jeff is an active member of both the Board of Directors of St. Francis House, Gainesville’s shelter for the homeless, and the Catholic Charities Board.
Jeff and Donna have three children, John, Nick and Rachel. Donna is currently working on her PhD in Communications at the University of Florida. John and Nick are currently attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where Nick is a member of the UTC Wrestling team. John has finished his eligibility at UTC where he was a three time Southern Conference Champion, and he is now pursuing a professional fighting career in the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC).
